Ora che siamo tornati a casa dalla nostra vacanza di 14 giorni in Italia, sono lieto di sedermi e scrivere questa recensione sopra tutti gli altri. Il nostro tempo (5 notti) a Il Villino Di Cortona è stato veramente il momento clou di tutto il nostro viaggio. Michele è stato assolutamente favoloso, ci ha lasciato cesti regalo sul nostro tavolo all'aperto ogni altra mattina (che magnifica sorpresa!), Venendo in nostro aiuto senza lamentarci quando ci siamo chiusi fuori di casa sotto la pioggia battente, e controllandoci via messaggio per assicurarci che stessimo facendo bene. Inoltre, ha fornito una grande quantità di informazioni utili sulle aree e sui siti circostanti da vedere. La villa era completamente attrezzata, compresi articoli da toeletta, accappatoi, pantofole. Ogni dettaglio era stato curato e abbiamo così apprezzato la possibilità di chiamare questa casa in Italia. I letti erano molto comodi e non vedevamo l'ora di tornare da loro ogni sera di una lunga giornata di visite turistiche. I giardini erano bellissimi e, anche se eravamo lì durante la bassa stagione, la piscina e le aree del patio sarebbe sicuramente invitano durante i mesi più caldi. La proprietà è recintata e non ci sono state interruzioni dalle case circostanti. A parte la visita occasionale del gatto vicino (l'amavamo!) E il rospo molto grande che si godeva il riscaldamento sulle luci del vialetto di sera. La Villa è posizionata vicino alla città di Cortona, a 10 minuti in auto. Molto conveniente! Durante il resto dei nostri viaggi attraverso l'Italia, non abbiamo incontrato una situazione che è arrivata a misurare il bar che Michele ha ospitato a Cortona. Considereremo per sempre la sua famiglia e guarderemo con affetto alla nostra prossima visita con lui nel prossimo futuro. Grazie, Michele, per averci mostrato il meglio dell'Italia. Ti vogliamo bene!

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Now that we are back home from our 14-day vacation in Italy, I am pleased to sit down and write this review above all others. Our time (5 nights) at Il Villino Di Cortona was truly the highlight of our entire trip. Michele was absolutely fabulous, he left us gift baskets on our outdoor table every morning (what a wonderful surprise!), Coming to our aid without complaining when we shut ourselves out of the house in the pouring rain, and checking us via message to make sure that we were doing well. He also provided a wealth of useful information on the surrounding areas and sites to see. The villa was fully equipped, including toiletries, bathrobes, slippers. Every detail had been taken care of and we appreciated the opportunity to rent this house in Italy. The beds were very comfortable and we couldn't wait to get back to them every night of a long day of sightseeing. The gardens were beautiful and, even though we were there during the low season, the pool and patio areas would definitely invite during the warmer months. The property is fenced and there were no interference from the surrounding houses. Apart from the occasional visit of the nearby cat (we loved it!) and the very large toad that enjoyed the warming on the lights of the driveway in the evening. The Villa is located near the city of Cortona, 10 minutes by car. Very convenient! During the rest of our travels through Italy, we have not encountered a situation that has come to measure the one in Cortona. We will always remember Michele's family and look forward to our next visit in the near future. Thank you, Michele, for showing us the best of Italy. We love you!

Clean and well maintained property well located to visit the rest of Tuscany. The pool is great. Local town nice with some good restaurants but very small town overall.

It was just perfect for a vacation for 2. You just had to know :it is a studio but everything was ok! Very peacefull place and ver nice owner.

This Balkan gem was definitely one of our best holidays ever. The place was beautifully renovated by Kalin and Maya, who preserved the essence of rural residence with all modern amenities. They were both charming, responsive and helpful and even bought a new heater for our little one. The house and its surroundings are very close to some of the best natural experiences in the Central Balkan Mountains and are luckily secluded from any touristic hub. It is highly recommended for nature lovers as well as town mice who want to escape from urban life. We spent 9 days in this inspirational place and hope to come back soon!

Ho soggiornato in questo appartamento per una settimana, e l'autunno è felice che la mia prima conoscenza con Firenze sia venuta "da questo appartamento". L'appartamento è molto pulito! Dritto nuovo e brilla tutto! Per me è molto importante e sono estremamente soddisfatto! Ho vissuto lì da solo, ma può facilmente ospitare 5 persone. L'appartamento è dotato di tutto il necessario per rimanere. Anche la posizione era molto comoda - vicino al mercato centrale, alla stazione dei treni e degli autobus e con facile accesso alle principali attrazioni! Durante le vacanze con l'appartamento non ci sono stati problemi, e posso solo raccomandarli a chi ha dei dubbi! Grazie, Rita per un soggiorno meraviglioso!

We stayed four families at Casa Luciana in september 2018, and we had a wonderful time! The host was very friendly and helpful - they helped make baby cots and high chairs beyond the usual amount available, which was fantastic for us. They also provided a great chef, Stefano, who made our stay just perfect by preparing wonderful meals according to our wishes and at a fair price. The pool area was wonderful, the kitchen was very well equipped and bedrooms were comfortable and the curtains shut the light out completely (important for small children). Only small minus was that the nearby village was not worth visiting, so a car is needed - or just stay at the villa ;) Thank you for a great stay!

The property was lovely and the house was very charming. The owner was absolutely wonderful and very helpful. We went in September, and there happened to be a lot of insects. Nothing about the property - just the time of year. The house is very remote, and getting up the long gravel road had some challenges, but once your up there it's wonderful. Very relaxing. Make sure you tell the owner to renew the wi-fi as it went out while we were there. Also - the TV only gets Italian channels - so be prepared with games or iPads (if the wi-fi) is working. Overall a very nice retreat and gorgeous views.

Wonderful house in a stunning location. The owners are extremely warm, friendly and helpful, very quick to respond to any questions we had. We'd highly recommend this place. It's even better than it looks in the photos - the driveway is especially beautiful. The closest town Cetona is exactly what you hope for in a small, traditional, rustic village where you can get everything you need or relax with the locals, good restaurants options etc
