Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und weit oben auf einem Berg. Die Fahrt vom Städtchen im Tal dorthin dauert ca. 20 - 25 Minuten. Es sieht alles so aus, wie auf den Bildern abgebildet.
Die Reinigungsgebühr von 70 € merkt man auf jeden Fall, es ist alles sehr sauber im Haus!
Die Besitzer sind super nett, haben uns mit hausgemachtem Wein, Honig und Olivenöl begrüßt und uns öfter mit Obst aus dem Garten versorgt. Auf den Gemüse- und Kräutergarten durften wir ebenso zugreifen!
Alles in allem sehr schön und gemütlich dort!
Die einzigen zwei Mankos waren, dass wir ein alleinstehendes Haus ohne weitere Menschen gesucht haben. Wir dachten auch, dass wir das mit diesem Haus gefunden haben. Direkt nebenan haben aber die Eltern von den Besitzern gewohnt (ich denke, es waren die Eltern). Die Besitzer hatten ihr Haus oberhalb und kamen täglich um kurz im Garten zu arbeiten. Alle Personen dort sind wirklich sehr nett, aber alleine ist man eben nicht!
Das zweite kleinere Übel war das W-Lan. Der Empfang war teilweise schlecht und die Besitzerin meinte, man soll damit keine Filme oder Videos schauen, da sie es sonst öfter aufladen muss und das recht kostspielig ist.
Es war für uns trotzdem ein schöner Urlaub und es waren zwei tolle und ruhige Wochen!
(English translation - The house is very quiet and high on a mountain. The drive from the town in the valley takes about 20 - 25 minutes. It all looks like in the pictures.
The cleaning fee of 70 € you notice in any case, it is all very clean in the house!
The owners are super nice, greeted us with homemade wine, honey and olive oil and more often supplied us with fruit from the garden. We were also allowed to access the vegetable and herb garden!
All in all, very nice and comfortable there!
The only two shortcomings were that we were looking for a single house without more people. We also thought that we found this with this house. Right next door live the owners parents (I think it was the parents). The owners had their house above and came every day for a short time to work in the garden. All the people there are really nice, but you are not alone!
The second minor shortcoming was the Wi-Fi. The reception was partly bad and the owner said, you should not watch any movies or videos, as they usually have to recharge more often and that is quite expensive.
It was still a nice holiday for us and two great and quiet weeks!)

Excellent. The villa is absolutely first class. The rural location and the views from the property will stay with us for a very long time. It is a charming house and very well equipped with everything one might need for your stay. The pool is a good size and the garden is beautiful with flowers and lots of birds/insects.
Serena was an excellent manager for the booking and our needs whilst we were there and the cleaning/pool staff very good as well.

A fantastic setting for a very comfortable, well appointed villa.The villa was well located ,both within walking distance of Palaia and easy driving distance of numerous cities to explore,including Lucca, San Gimignano, Siena and Pisa.We also enjoyed a couple of days enjoying the views from the glorious pool and dining in the shade of the verandah
Will definitely return!

Villa was everything the pictures show. We could not have been more satisfied.
we would highly recommend the Villa, it is beautiful and Daniel , on site was great help. Laura was always reachable and most helpful . The only problem was my wife falling on the first day on way up to the pool. Stairs are very steep and there is no railing. Also, Charges for towels are not explained properly. more towels should be supplied before being charged.One bath towel per person for a week is really not enough. Especially because there are no towels supplied for the pool.

Three generations enjoyed this historic villa amidst the beautiful farm lands of Tuscany. We were impressed how cool the house stayed with it’s thick walls. The runners enjoyed their options to run in a variety of directions, , the hikers enjoyed walking to the nearest town and the great vistas along the way. The children and adults had much fun in the generous and clean pool. The owner was attentive to any questions. We loved the easy access to day excursions to neighboring hill towns, wineries, and restaurants. The chef you can pre hire did a great job with 2 evening dinners. The bedroom logistics were perfect for our extended family of 15. We would be happy to return.

nice place, great environment. only one bathroom...... outside furniture needs a new table. a broom would be nice for cleaning. Host very helpful. very nice kitchen and well equipped.

stayed in Pozzo 1 a few years ago so when my family suggested a trip to Tuscany I knew exactly were I wanted us to stay, love the house , grounds and pool,the views are to die for from the rear of the property, large bedrooms , large lounge and good kitchen with plenty of utensils, one teeny thing no kettle for tea but we improvised, lovely owners very helpful and friendly, make there own wine and olive oil very nice products. Two Restaurents within walking distance again lovely friendly owners. Coop market short drive away with great produce. Property easy to get to and from for outings. Will be booking for next year soon.
