Sehr schöne und gemütliche Unterkunft, ruhig gelegen. Der Pool ist wahnsinnig schön. Die Klimaanlagen in den Schlafzimmern waren super, da wir wegen der Mücken nicht mit offenem Fenstern schlafen konnten. Rundum alles prima. Alles funktionierte und war in Schuss. Die Küche ist sehr gut mit allem ausgestattet.

The air conditioning in the bedrooms was great as we couldn't sleep with the windows open because of the mosquitoes. Everything was great all round. Everything worked and was in good condition. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything.

Die Ferienwohnung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber voll ausgestattet. Besonders in der Küche fehlt nichts. Das große Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett ist neu ausgestattet. Es werden auf der Homepage zwei Badezimmer angegeben, es ist aber tatsächlich nur eines. Ansonsten alles ok. Der große Balkon im ersten Stock ist super groß und hat eine Sonnenmarkise, sodass er sich tagsüber nicht aufheizen kann.
Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, aber nicht aufdringlich, sodass man nicht mit einem Familienanschluss rechnen muss.
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] The holiday flat is a bit outdated, but fully equipped. Nothing is missing, especially in the kitchen. The large bedroom with double bed is newly furnished. There are two bathrooms listed on the homepage, but there is actually only one. Otherwise everything is ok. The large balcony on the first floor is super large and has a sun awning so that it doesn't heat up during the day.
The landlords are very friendly but not intrusive, so you don't have to expect a family connection.

Sehr freundliche Anlagenbetreiber, sehr auf das Wohl der Gäste bedacht. Wohneinheit zufriedenstellend und sauber. Pool sehr angenehem. Parkflächen in außreichender Menge und Größe innerhalb der Anlage. Einziger Nachteil war, kein W-Lan. Lage ist gut gelegen um in 45min. das Meer zu erreichen und innerhalb 15 min. einen Supermarkt. Würden sehr gerne dort wieder residieren. Hat sehr viel Spass gemacht.

The pool was very pleasant and there was plenty of parking space within the complex. Only downside was no wifi. Location is well situated to reach the sea in 45 mins and a supermarket within 15 mins. Would love to stay there again. It was a lot of fun.

a very nice and comfortable loction on top of a hill. You've a magnificent view over the valley and are competley for yourself with lots of space around the house.
The street is very steep but no problem to reach the house! We've spent one week with 9 persons and the location was ideal for our needs. The pool area was also very nice and comfortable. Especially the mosquito screens are important and effective! Very good, we'll return!

Séjour en famille idyllique, la maison est magnifique et parfaite, la cuisine très bien équipée, l’ombre des arcades appréciable , la piscine a fait le bonheur des petits enfants, très bien exposée pour le clair de lune aussi. Seul bémol mais la maison n’y est pour rien, la fréquentation des moustiques, prises et tortillons de rigueur.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour en famille à la Casa Bensa. La propriété est incroyable avec vue dégagée sur les coteaux de vigne et sur Empoli.
Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Chiara avec un panier de spécialités italiennes.
La situation est idéale, isolée au calme, mais avec tous les services à 5 minutes de voiture (indispensable).
Idéal pied à terre pour visiter la Toscane (Florence, Pise, Lucques, Sienne...)
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] We loved our family stay at Casa Bensa. The property is incredible with unobstructed views of the vineyard hillsides and Empoli.
We were very well received by Chiara with a basket of Italian specialties.
The location is ideal, isolated in a quiet area, but with all services within a 5-minute drive (essential).
Ideal base for visiting Tuscany (Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena...)

Fantastische plek voor een relaxte vakantie! Prachtig uitzicht waar je elke avond getrakteerd wordt op een schitterende zonsondergang. Heerlijk zwembad om af te koelen en gezellig dineren onder de boog bij het huis. Alle ingrediënten voor een prima vakantie!
Het is even ‘klimmen’ met de auto maar zeker de moeite waard!

Fantastisch traditioneel Italiaans huis. Grote woning met ruime kamers en heel veel kast- en opbergruimte. Hier en daar wat opknapwerk nodig, maar in feite wordt dit door de authentieke elementen (bvb antieke wereldbol, oude schilderijen, marmeren schaaltjes in de badkamer, prachtige donker houten trap...) gecompenseerd. Je hebt niet het gevoel van een "verblijf in een vakantiehuisje", maar wel van "wonen in een huis in een Italiaans dorpje in de Toscaanse heuvels".
Hou er rekening mee dat het huis zich op de top van een heuvel bevindt en je dus telkens een aantal km haarspeldbochten moet overwinnen.
Kleine minpuntjes:
- slechts één 3 -persoonszetel in de living, als je met meer bent kan je er dus niet met z'n allen zitten
- zeer harde matras in de bovenste slaapkamer
- de tuin met tuinmeubels en zwembad bevindt zich achter het huis van de eigenaars. Hierdoor is het net iets minder evident om bvb buiten te gaan ontbijten of 's avonds als de kids in bed liggen nog buiten te gaan zitten.
Dat went echter snel. De woning is niet modern maar toch helemaal top en het zwembad is geweldig, heel groot en met een fenomenaal uitzicht!
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Fantastic traditional Italian house. Large house with spacious rooms and lots of cupboard and storage space. Some renovation work needed here and there, but in fact this is compensated by the authentic elements (e.g. antique globe, old paintings, marble bowls in the bathroom, beautiful dark wooden staircase...). You don't have the feeling of "staying in a holiday home", but of "living in a house in an Italian village in the Tuscan hills".
Please note that the house is located on top of a hill and you therefore have to overcome a few km of hairpin bends each time.
Small drawbacks:
- only one 3-person sofa in the living room, if there are more of you you can't all sit there
- very hard mattress in the top bedroom
- the garden with garden furniture and swimming pool is located behind the owners' house. This makes it a little less obvious to have breakfast outside or to sit outside in the evening when the kids are in bed.
However, you get used to it quickly. The house is not modern but still completely top and the pool is great, very large and with a phenomenal view!
