My family and I absolutely loved staying here. After the business of Florence and Venice, Lucignano, but more specifically this villa, was the perfect place to take a break and enjoy the beautiful countryside. The host was incredibly helpful in many ways. He also arranged a winery tour for us which was minutes away and amazing. He guided us to butcher shops, grocery stores, helped us understand when things were open or closed, etc. The place itself was amazing. Our group was able to spread out and have space to ourselves but a wonderful big kitchen, pool, and hot tub to gather as a group. I would recommend this place every time!

We have rented villas throughout Italy for over 20 years and Villa Le Buche tops them all. From the marvelous Lucia who oversaw our stay, to Florika who managed the spa, to the wonderful Chef and staff who cooked and served delightful meals, it was a 5 star experience all the way. We also enjoyed the most excellent wines and olive oil available at the Villa (the Rose was a favorite). Villa Le Buche provides the perfect accommodations and location for a perfect week in Tuscany with family and friends. We will be back in the future to enjoy this most beautiful and luxurious Villa. Our family of 17 stayed here for 10 days and it was the most magical experience! Everything was top notch, from the rooms, the views, the food and the service! Lucia and team are outstanding and I would recommend this villa 1000 times over. The spa and pool are wonderful amenities. We added a private chef service for a few dinners that were fantastic. Highly recommend and hope to come back again one day!

Clean apartments, beautiful pool and nice outdoor grill with lots of table and sitting places with nice scenery over the landscape. Quite and away from traffic and perfect for children to play.

Eine schöne Ferienanlage! Ich habe gemeinsam mit meiner Großfamilie (28 Personen, 4 Generationen) im Sommer 2013 2 Wochen in Borgo Monteluce verbracht. Die Anlage war wunderbar und sehr gut geeignet für gemeinsames Zusammensein(großes Außengelände,große Gemeinschaftseinrichtungen,Swimmingpool)Es gab aber auch genügend Privatsphäre und Rückzugsmöglichkeiten für jede einzelne Kleinfamilie. So hat jede Wohnung einen separaten Außenbereich und auch eine kleine,etwas sparsam eingerichtete Küche.
Ein idealer Ort für eine größere Gruppe! Die Betreuung vor Ort war ausgezeichnet. Die Lage der Anlage ist perfekt, wunderbarer Blick auf den Lago Trasimeno!
[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] A nice resort! I have spent 2 weeks with my extended family (28 people, 4 generations) in the summer of 2013 in Borgo Monteluce. The property was wonderful and very well suited for staying together (large outside area, great community facilities, swimming pool) but there was also plenty of privacy and retreat for each single family. Thus, each apartment has a separate outdoor area and also a small, somewhat sparingly furnished kitchen.
An ideal place for a larger group! Local support was excellent. The location of the resort is perfect, wonderful views of Lake Trasimeno!
