The villa is situated in a wonderfull and quiet environment. The gardens are well maintained and the interior is well designed and maintained. The airco works well and is silent. There are however some negative points that can be improved certainly for the price that is paid.
1. In the kitchen there is almost no storage place for the food of 16 adults for those that want to cook themselves. The only available cupboard is closed for private use by the owner.
2. At the swimming pool there are only 5 sunbeds that allow adults to lay in the sun. For the others there is only place under the sunroof in a large sofa.
3. The garage is partly taken by a private car of the owner and some spare or broken items as beds, chairs etc.
4. Although there is plenty cookware some essential stuff is missing as e.g. electrical mixer.
5. The kitchen knives are far from being sharp.
6. In the pool there is a loose stone above filter hole that can and has caused an injury at the feet.

Eine schöne, saubere und gepflegte Unterkunft, sehr komfortabel. Gut und sinnvoll eingerichtet: wir haben als vierköpfige Familie eine Woche dort verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist in einem Wohngebiet von Ameglia gelegen; sehr sicher geschützt. Man erreicht die Badestrände zwischen La Spezia und Livorno sehr gut und schnell; interessante Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie die interessante und weltberühmten Marmorsteinbrüche von Carrara (schon Michelangelo holte dort sein Rohmateral ab, die wunderschönen Dörfer / Landschaft der Cinqueterre, nordwestlich von La Spezia sind ebenfalls leicht zu erreichen. Wir waren sehr von dieser Unterkunft sehr angetan und werden bestimmt noch mal dahin zurück kehren.

Well designed and useful: we, a family of four, spent a week there and we were very comfortable. The property is located in a residential area of Ameglia, protected and very safe. You can reach the beaches between La Spezia and Livorno very well and fast, interesting sights, like the interesting and famous marble quarries of Carrara (even Michelangelo went there to get his raw material), the beautiful villages / landscape of the Cinque Terre, northwest of La Spezia are also easy to reach. Mooie podere op een fantastische locatie vlakbij San Gimignano! Ongelooflijk mooi landgoed met een schitterend panorama. Rustige omgeving en gunstige ligging om uitstappen te maken naar Siena, Volterra, Firenze... Zeer gastvrije eigenaars. Proef zeker eens hun lekkere wijn en olijfolie. Bovendien een aanrader voor poezenliefhebbers!

Beautiful location and view from terrace and garden! We stayed in wila 2 families with small children for 2 weeks.Villa is for very good value. Garden is very clean and nice, kept very well. Surrounding area of villa is real tuscany country side! The fact that owners live next door was very helpfull. We had over privacy but when we needed help (medicine doctor because of fever of our baby) they helped us promptly and cheerfuly what we really appreciated. They were to our disposal whatever we needed and Pizza from Lucia was the best we tried in Tuscany! We hope we will come again to this great villa again in future. Two thumbs up for owners Gabrielle and Lucia!!! Definitely we recommend to our friends to go there. Martin, Slovakia

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable : Anna 4 est isolé, mais pas très loin de magnifiques villages toscans ainsi que des grandes villes.
Nous avons été très bien conseillés pour choisir cet endroit : nous avions une piscine avec une vue magnifique sur le Chianti, une terrasse privée avec barbecue et la maison était très propre.
L'accueil de la propriétaire était très chaleureux.

we had a very good stay at podere il doccio (ocra). it is a well equipped comfortable stay. The owners are terrific, very kind and helpful. we enjoyed the wine tasting and cooking experience...

We rented this property sight unseen and were not disappointed! The house was exactly as the pictures described. Lots of room, good beds, great pool and outside areas. The view was beautiful and the location very quiet, lots of room for parking for at least 2 cars. The only down side was a slight sewer smell around the pool, though as we traveled in Italy we noticed this several places, maybe it is just that way in certain areas. The yard and garden are large and well kept, even had several herb plants, sage, oregano, rosemary and thyme! we made use of those when we made dinners! Our pool was cleaned twice during our stay. Maybe under the outside sitting area there could be stones, the ground was muddy every day due to the sprinklers came on during the night. Checking in was ok, thanks to Sofia who spoke very good English, this is very important to foreign guests. Sofia also helped making dinner reservations for us, not every place speaks English, was quite frustrating at times. Greve is a beautiful town and we enjoyed the short walk from the house to the plaza, restaurants and shops. It was very easy to get around, and especially nice not to have drive to the shops if we needed anything. The Coop in the center of town has everything you need, also there are lots of wine shops in the center, also small shops that sell lots of things. We enjoyed our croissant and cappuccino every day in the square. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend this house highly to others. We will be back!

Prima huis met groot, diep zwembad. Woonruimte is verdeeld over drie etages daardoor minder geschikt voor mensen met kleine kinderen. Huur aan de hoge kant. Aardige eigenaar.
