In Ranua, Impiö, about 120 km southeast of Rovaniemi, there is a spacious log cabin on the shore of Lake Akonlampi. This two-story holiday home, built in 2005 and renovated in 2020, offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
The 100 square meters of the cabin offer plenty of space even for a larger group. Upstairs there is a bright living area with direct access to the terrace to enjoy the sounds of nature and the view of the water. In addition, upstairs there are two bedrooms: one with a 160 cm double bed, the other with two 80 cm wide beds. Downstairs there is a private entrance, a well-equipped kitchen, a living area, a separate toilet with a shower cabin and a wood-fired sauna with a dressing room - the perfect place to relax at the end of the day. Downstairs there is also one bedroom (160 cm double bed) and a sofa bed that opens into an additional 140 cm wide bed.
Pets are welcome for an additional fee, and there is a handy dog fence in the yard – furry family members will also enjoy themselves here!
The cottage is located only about 20 meters from the shore of Akonlampi. The beach is natural and vegetated, with a soft bottom and muddy – the perfect place to row, fish or just enjoy the silence and birdsong.

A holiday cottage in the beautiful lake landscape of Lapland on the shores of Lake Olangonjärvi, part of the large lake Simojärvi. The two-story, versatile cottage offers a great setting for both summer and winter tourism. From the lean-to, you can admire the northern lights blazing in the sky or the nightless night right by the lake from the campfire. The cottage is surrounded by the hill marshes and the wilderness of Lapland.
The cottage, built in 1991, has a double bed upstairs and a fold-out bed for 1-2 (both 160 cm wide). Upstairs there is also an alternative bed for children a fold-out bed with a 15 cm mattress (bed length 188 cm). Downstairs there is a fold-out futon sofa bed for 1-2 (140 cm wide). The heart of the well-equipped living room and kitchen is a soapstone fireplace. A modern design air-to-air heat pump makes the house efficiently warm in the summer and cool in the summer. There is also a bathroom-toilet and an electric sauna downstairs.
The traditional wood-heated lakeside sauna is located right on the lake shore. You can swim directly from the pier into the lake. In front of the sauna is a shallow and hard natural sand beach, which deepens after the pier and turns into soft mud. It is possible to use the lakeside sauna all year round, but ask the owner for permission, if you want to heat it in winter.
The shallow Olangonjärvi lake is ideal for paddling. A two-person canoe and a one-person kayak are available. There is also a boat equipped with oars and a small outboard motor (5 hp) for fishing; the use of the outboard motor must be agreed separately with the owner. The one-kilometer-long Olangonjärvi lake is connected to the 33-kilometer-long and 90-square-kilometer-wide Simojärvi lake, which is famous for its fishing opportunities. 30 km to the northeast from the center of Ranua, 105 km to the southeast from Rovaniemi, lake Simojärvi 25 m (Lautaselkä), shallow beach, soft bottom, pier, own rowing boat. Outboard motor (3.6 hp, 2-stroke) available for rent from the owner. The fuel is included in the rental fee.

Juotas Village is a charming apartment surrounded by countryside landscape, located near the river Kemijoki. The apartment has been renovated and decorated in a traditional style. The farm has a workshop that manufactures leather goods and a café. There are two Finnish horses grazing in the yard, possibility to ride.
65 km southeast from Rovaniemi city center. No own beach. Distance to the river Kemijoki is 500 m, lean-to shelter and boat ramp located on the beach. Public swimming beach by the artificial lake Juottaa, distance 500 m.
Gable apartment in a row house containing three apartments in total. The house is log-built (board lining, interior walls partially covered), former apartment in village school building, built in 1947 and renovated in 2015.
In the living room spreadable sofa bed, in the bedroom 3 beds, in the another bedroom 1 bed (width 120 cm), kitchen, separate WC with shower and covered terrace. One separate mattress, can be placed freely if needed.
On the ground floor of the main building, there is a sauna with wood-burning sauna stove. The owner heats the sauna or guides it in heating. In connection with the sauna, washroom with a shower.
Final cleaning includes in price.
