The cabin is situated in the village of Suvanto, the neighbor village of Pyhätunturi. This is the only village complex that survived the destruction of World War II. It is an architecturally designed silver log cabin with unique design.
Pyhätunturi fell 20 km, Luosto 35 km, 57 km north of Kemijärvi. Neighbors on both sides are close, distance 20-30 meters. Cabin no. 16004 is one of the neighbors. River Kitinen/Lake Kokkonen 30 m, opposite shore 300 metres away, shallow, hard sand bottom, shore partly shared, own boat.

The cabin is situated amidst the traditional scenery of Sevettijärvi village — 419 km north of Kemijärvi and 152 km northeast of Ivalo. With 80 m² of spacious and bright living area, it comfortably accommodates larger groups. The ground floor features a spacious living room/kitchen area, ideal for cooking together and enjoying cozy moments by the fireplace. On the same floor, there are two bedrooms, each with a double bed (160 cm wide). Additionally, there is a sauna, a washroom (with a WC and washing machine), and a separate WC. The stairs lead to an open loft area with sleeping spaces on both sides, each equipped with foldable 80 cm mattresses as extra beds.
A large covered and glazed terrace spanning the entire cabin's width allows for grilling and outdoor enjoyment in all weather conditions.
The garage/storage building in the cabin's yard is not available for guests' use.
Just a short 150-meter walk away is a public sandy beach at Lake Sevettijärvi —an ideal spot for relaxing summer days or a refreshing swim after hiking. Kaldoaivi Wilderness Area is located 5 km northwest of the cabin, and Vätsäri Wilderness Area is 11.5 km to the southeast.
Electric vehicle charging is possible from a regular electrical outlet upon prior arrangement with the owner; an additional fee (approx. 20 EUR) is payable directly to the owner.
