Beschreibung der Unterkunft

Antikes Landhaus mit Schwimmbad in der Toskana zu vermieten, ganz in der Nähe von San Gimignano. Das Haus stammt aus dem 15. Jahrhundert und liegt nur 300 Meter von der Altstadt entfernt. Es ist in drei Apartments unterteilt, zu denen auch das Apartment der Besitzer gehört, die jederzeit gerne bei Bedarf helfen.
Die drei Apartments befinden sich in ruhiger, ländlicher Lage und sind gleichzeitig fußläufig zur Stadt San Gimignano erreichbar, die für ihre alten Türme und schönen, schmalen Gassen bekannt ist. Jedes Apartment verfügt über einen privaten, ausgestatteten Außenbereich.
Die Besitzer haben zwei freundliche und ruhige Schäferhunde, die sich frei auf dem Grundstück bewegen.
Gästen des Besitzes steht ein großes, eingezäuntes Schwimmbad (14 x 7 m; Mindesttiefe: 1,15 m; Höchsttiefe: 2,50 m) zur Verfügung, sowie ein Tennisplatz mit Kunstrasen und Beleuchtung. Es gibt zahlreiche Außenbereiche, einschließlich einer Spielzone für Kinder, einen privaten Außenbereich für jedes der drei Apartments, Parkplatzmöglichkeiten auf dem Grundstück, eine Waschküche (Waschmaschine gegen Bezahlung), einen Grillbereich sowie Klimaanlage in jedem Apartment. Der Internetzugang (WLAN) ist in einem Gemeinschaftsbereich am Eingang des Besitzes verfügbar; nur das Apartment „Capanna“ bietet einen Internetzugang im Inneren.
Entfernungen: Der wunderschöne Ort San Gimignano mit Geschäften jeder Art 300 m. Poggibonsi 12 km, Volterra 30 km, Siena 40 km, Florenz 50 km, Pisa und Lucca 85 km. Der Bereich des Chianti Classico befindet sich im Umkreis von 20- 50 km.

The first thing that hits you on arrival is the view, it is everything we expected from our Tuscan retreat. The apartment is spacious, functional and clean. There is plenty of storage and more than enough room for 2 people. As this is a studio apartment there is no washing machine or oven, only 2 hobs, but we knew this before we arrived and it worked for us. The terrace area is amazing with views to die for. There is plenty of room with ample seating and a discreet washing line to dry off towels etc.
The swimming pool and grounds are excellent, kept so well maintained and clean. The swimming pool is lovely and so peaceful. As there are only 3 apartments there is always plenty of room, there are 3 sets of sunbeds with umbrellas and tables and chairs. Each apartment has its own gated entrance and allocated parking space, so if you have a car it's no problem.

The accommodation is a short walk from the entrance of beautiful San Gimignano and the local supermarket. However, it is quite a steep hill and maybe something to keep in mind if you have limited mobility.

We would ABSOLUTLY recommend this accommodation. The welcome, view and facilities are excellent. Don't miss this opportunity to experience a perfect Tuscan break.
Lastly but probably the most important thing is the family who welcome you with open arms and are there to assist with anything you need. Massive thanks to Franco and his lovely family.

We had a very lovely relaxing time at Ovile, the place was clean and comfortable with easy access to the town of San Gimignano. Perfect location to explore Tuscany. We stayed for 11 nights and it was great to just stay in one place. The owners were there if needed but we had the privacy and peace we were looking for.

A very nice, cozy, private home. Close to walking to San Gimignano.
Recommend a car as it's too far to get groceries. Also, we had to deliver the recycling and garbage to the bins near the Carabinieri
Spent 9 days here and enjoyed using La Capanna as a base for local trips.

We stayed for one week at the La Capanna apartment in San Gimignano and it was wonderful. The setting is perfect, just a 10 minute (or less) outside the old city walls, but in vineyard territory so you feel as if you are in the countryside. There is a pool which is shared by the other apartments on the site, but was virtually deserted most of the time we were there, so we had it almost to ourselves. And the family which runs the site are very friendly and helpful. I can well recommend staying there.

An absolute gem in the heart of Tuscany. Situated just a short walk outside the historic city of San Gimignano, you find this amazing former wineyard.
Very well-kept with a beautiful panoramic view over the hills. A small (not luxorious) apartment but cosy and with what you need, close to a very nice poolarea.
A need to go place!

I proprietari sono molto cordiali e cortesi.
Va tutto bene e pulito.
La piscina è davvero grande e facile da usare in estate. Parcheggiare nella proprietà è un'ottima cosa in quanto parcheggiare a San Gimignano è molto noioso.
I cani sono ben educati e silenziosi.
Ci siamo divertiti qui.

It's all right and clean. The pool is really big and easy to use in the summer. Parking at the property is a good thing as parking in San Gimignano is very difficult. Dogs are well behaved and silent.

Great location close to San Gimignano. Magnificent property with terrific view over the vineyards and valley. Ovile apartment is quite compact but has everything we needed for a great stay. We had a fantastic two weeks. The location allows you to thoroughly relax and enjoy the stunning views as well as having the option to simply walk into San Gimignano. We had a great stay. Our room was very spacious and had all the amenities we required. Our hosts were very accommodating and we felt a part of the family. They even gave us a bottle of their home brewed wine and fresh pressed olive oil!

We had a lovely time touring their grounds and fields. We got to play with their two dogs, visit with their friendly donkey "arborgio" and tour their wine cellers. A great time and a great location in Tuscany.

Traumhaftes Haus in perfekter Lage!
Das Haus ist perfekt für 2 Personen plus Kind. Bis nach San Gimignano sind es etwa 5 Minuten - zwar bergauf aber es lohnt sich. Besonders das Eis beim ehemaligen Gelato Weltmeister in San Gimignano ist einfach nur zu empfehlen.
Die Eigentümer sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Haus hat alles, was man braucht. Es gab Wein und Öl aus eigenem Anbau als Begrüßungsgeschenk. Sehr lecker.

Einfach eine perfekte Unterkunft für einen traumhaften Toskana Urlaub!
