252 km north of Rovaniemi, Piispanoja stream (small river) 30 m, swimming place in stream, shallow, hard sand bottom, no boat. Log cottage 1980, living room/kitchen, 2 bedrooms bunk in each (lower bed 120 cm wide), washroom.

Separate sauna with wood-fired stove on bank of stream. Sauna building also has room with fireplace with 2 alternative beds. Room with fireplace has electricity. Traditional Lappish cottage at Laanila on bank of Piispanoja (Laanioja) stream. Swimming place in stream. Stream is in gold panning area, as can be seen from various constructions along it. Naturally beautiful, peaceful location on a slope on the stream bank. Streamside sauna lower down, with steps down to it. Services at Laanila.

Laanihovi 800 m, old-time Savottakahvila (café) 500 m. Ski trails 600 m, also illuminated. Saariselkä ski lifts 5 km, spa 3.8 km, shop and State alcohol shop 3.5 km.
