The Holiday Farmhouse “Camporgiano” is situated in a green landscape in the heart of the fascinating Garfagnana valley, north of Lucca. This rural property, which was once a thriving farmhouse, has now been completely restored and become a perfect spot to spend a relaxing holiday.
The surrounding area is ideal for nature lovers, who can enjoy the stunning views whilst trekking or mountain biking (bikes provided) in the numerous paths of the valley.
The property has been restored using many of the original materials, thus retaining many of its traditional rural features and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, whilst providing all the modern comforts and equipment.
The building is surrounded by 2 hectares of farmland cereal crop cultivation and meadows.
The large swimming pool (14m x 7m) with ample paving is situated in front of the house, ideal for children and sunbathing. IF YOU BOOK BOTH APARTMENTS, THE POOL WILL BE PRIVATE FOR YOUR GROUP!
The verandas and covered porches are perfect for eating out during the day and evening.
“Camporgiano” is an ideal base for visiting local attractions, such as the “Orecchiella Park”, the cultural cities of Lucca, Pisa and Florence and the Versilia coast.
Camporgiano village is 1.5 km far away and can be reach on foot, in the village there are food shops, restaurants, banks, taxi service, train station, bus stop for Lucca.

The house is surrounded by a big garden and the farmland,with cereals cultivation and a typical variety of apple (casciana) orchard.
In front of the house a big swimming pool (7x14 m) with solarium; each house is provided with beach-umbrella,table,chairs and deck-chairs.
Each house has its private veranda, where eating or spending relaxing time.
Guests have at their disposal the bbq and the wooden oven they can use with the complicity of the owner.
Nature lovers and sportsmen can make excursion to the surrounding mountains,trekking or biking with the mountain bikes provided by the farmhouse or make use of horses provided by local horsemanship to go a long way deep in a very evocative landscape.

The property accommodated two families comfortably and is well located close to the town. The owner and local people were friendly and helpful. The pool and garden are great for families with children. One small criticism would be that the kitchen could use a few more, bowls, plates, serving bowls etc.
