Beschreibung der Unterkunft
Schönes Bauernhaus (140 m2) mit Nebenhaus (60 m2) in sehr ruhiger Panorama- Lage auf den Hügeln oberhalb des Chianatals gelegen. Beide Gebäude, die sorgfältig renoviert und in eine unabhängige Anlage verwandelt wurden, befinden sich inmitten eines 5 Hektar grossen Grundstücks. Die Einrichtung ist sehr gepflegt. Die Eigentümer leben in einem Teil der Villa, in einer Wohnung mit privatem Eingang auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Nebengebäudes, und sie benutzten einen kleinen, abgelegenen Teil des Gartens aber nicht das Schwimmbad.

The villa and grounds were beautiful. We had great weather the entire time. It was a pleasure to have this beautiful place for three weeks. The owners were so helpful and kind and the meals they prepared were glorious. The sunsets helped to put a magical glow to our home in Tuscany. Everything was perfect!

This is heaven on earth! Absolutely the most beautiful place I have everystayed in. The pictures do not do this place justice. Villa, pool, property, views and surroundings are more than I ever could have dreamed of. The owners are delightful and helpful and will cook you the best Tuscan dinner you have every had for a very reasonable price. You are situated in the most beautiful countryside you can imagine, between Cortona and Montepulciano, two gorgeous hill towns,and are only 1 1/2 hours from Florence. You can stop looking for another place...this is the one!

The place was beautiful and the views were spectacular.......the owner's family sent us a homemade raspberry torte on our arrival and TIARA MI SU to end our visit....both of which were DELICIOUS!!! Owner answered all of our questions and concerns promptly. One minor problem, which hopefully will be easily resolved, is that we were to meet the owner at 6:00 a.m. on the day of our departure to receive our security deposit back. We waited until 6:15 and then had to leave for the airport without taking care of this. Can you provide me with an E-Mail address for him so I can contact him. Would definitely recommend the place for a relaxing and memorable trip!

Having booked Villa Limoni 7 months previously we arrived to start our rental to be told that the property had been damaged in a storm and was not habitable, but that we could use the other villa owned by the same family, Zurli, located less than 1 km away. Unfortunately this was a bare-faced lie, and another family were enjoying Limoni for the next week as it had been double-booked. Even then we were not told the truth until every possible untruth had been tried. We were upgraded to a better villa with the promise of nothing further to pay, but this was also untrue. I would not recommend this company to anyone, as despite the villa-owner's dishonesty, our contract was with the agents.

From the moment the owners greet you to the time they wave goodbye, Limone villa is a rare treat. Inside is charming, spacious and very comfortable. Outside is serene and welcoming, with trees shading the walk to the barbecue as you listen to the cuckoos and doves. The view of Montepulciano from the outdoor dining table and poolside is lovely. The highlight of the day, though, is at the end, when you open a bottle of wine from the area and sit back as the sun sets behind the hills. Top that with an incredible dinner cooked for you by the owners, and you are truly experiencing a little slice of paradise.

A wonderful villa in a stunning location -the terrace overlooks vineyards, olive groves, sunflowers and the hilltop town of Montepulciano -truly breathtaking! The pool is a good size and a Godsend in the heat! Jacopo,our host was charming and extremely helpful. This was a fantastic holiday; the property is stuated on a hillside, surrounded by vinyards, overlooking fields of sunflowers with stunning views from the terrace - what more could you ask for? The owners will cook a meal for you and serve it on your terrace as the sun sets. We had three meals of typical tuscan food (one of them provided free of charge) the setting was perfect and the food was excellent.

This is the nicest property we have ever rented. Great location! You can get to most places in Tuscany and Umbria within one hour. Owners are charming and very helpful. Recommend having the owners make dinner and provide wine - You'll love it! Near all major tourist sites in Tuscany and Umbria. Has an incredible view over the Valley of the Chiana and up to Montepulciano.

Beautiful villa representing old world charm. Fantastic location with a view of Cortona from the back and Montepulciano from the front. The landscaping is incredulous and the location in the Chiana valley is out of a storybook. Full range of all utensils/pans/pots/glasses. There was even a nice collection of spices, coffee and sugar available! I highly recommend having the owner prepare some meals for you. They were fantastic 4 course meals. We did this three nights and they were the best meals we ate the entire trip!
